The Remote Data Transfer Unit allows for the data from the PDA to be transferred to BMM Explorer Software remotely, eliminating the need to transfer data via a USB. This data transfer can occur directly from the pit if Wi-Fi is available in the pit, or alternatively it will use the office Wi-Fi to connect and transfer data in seconds. The seamless transfer of pre-and post-blast data ensures maximum efficiency and minimal disruption. It also eliminates previous driver conflicts that could arise. The transfer of data is quick and simply completed by pressing a single button on the PDA.
The RDT is a major time saving device for the operation and ensures that BMT remains at the forefront of solutions for monitoring blast movement.
