Blast Movement Technologies named finalist in the 2017 Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards
For the fourth year running, BMT is a finalist in the Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards.
BMT’s blast movement monitoring system, a solution that helps open pit mines recover more ore, is designed and manufactured in Brisbane and exported to customers across Africa, Europe, North and South America.
BMT works with the top nine gold producers and the top three, Barrick, Newmont and AngloGold Ashanti, have adopted the BMM system as their corporate standard for grade control. The BMM System has been fully implemented at more than 80 mines, in 32 countries, for use in all commodities, including copper, gold, iron ore, nickel, platinum, silver and zinc.
