Asanko Gold reports that BMT delivers significant improvement in ore losses and dilution
Asanko Gold has reported that BMT’s blast movement technology is improving ore recovery and reducing dilution at its Nkran Pit, Ghana.
During Q3, both grade control (+8%) and mill feed reconciliation (+1%) showed significant improvement over Q2.
The company had earlier reported that BMT’s blast monitoring solution, implemented in July 2017, had improved reconciliation in August. Mill feed vs. Reserve Model reconciliation improvements for August were Ore Tonnes 98% (July 109%), Ore Grade 102% (July 88%), and Ounces 100% (July 96%).
