POST BLAST ORE LOCATION DATA COLLECTED SWIFTLY AND SAFELY
The below video has been updated and includes the new winch mechanism.
Since the exciting release of our FED in November 2019, where we released our new semi-autonomous detector at IMARC, our R&D team has continued to work on enhancing this solution to broaden its effectiveness in the field.
Offering mines a more effective, safe, and consistent data collection method, the FED directly combats the challenges posed by ‘stand-off’ and post-blast muck-pile restrictions.
The major highlights of the FED 2.0 series are :
– Detection depth increase from 8 metres below the detector coil to 12 metres.
– Software improvements including:
• winch control,
• additional grid pattern options,
• improved user experience with refined error and progress messages.
